Recuperating from surgery is tough enough. But if your phone is ringing off the hook with calls you don’t want, it’s even tougher, according to Vicky from Burbank, California:

Rest and recovery is so important after any surgery, and especially for breast and lung cancer operations.

Ghost robocaller photoI have had three such health emergencies and was confined to bed for weeks.

The phone rang constantly and I would mistakenly answer it thinking it was an important medical call. Over half the time it was various sales representatives, contest results personnel or an IRS fraud caller.

I finally told all my medical doctors to only use my cell number and then I turned the phone volume way down and even covered the phone with a pillow.

Shouldn’t have to be that way!

We agree with Vicky, it shouldn’t have to be this way. We’re calling on the phone companies to offer their customers free, effective tools to block robocalls. Join the more than 600,000 consumers who have taken action to End Robocalls.
