Is bigger better? Should giant cable conglomerates merge? If Comcast acquires Time Warner, the company will control two-thirds of the cable TV market, along with nearly 40% of broadband customers. Consumers Union has been opposed to the merger since it was first announced back in February, and over 50 organizations signed on to a letter to the FCC and Department of Justice urging the agencies to block the merger. Comcast may have an army of lobbyists on their side as they push their mega merger in Washington, but we’ve got the people!
