Ever seen a big spike in your monthly cell phone bill that was not caused by some change in service? THEN you’ve experienced “bill shock.” A big cause — overages in your minutes or data. Cell phone companies are now supposed to warn you before you go over your limits, so that bill shock doesn’t happen. Many folks are getting these warnings already, and all eleven companies should be using all four types of alerts by April 2013. Are you getting alerts, and have they helped stop bill shock? Tell us about it!
