Big Announcement: Companies to meet with Campaign

When we launched the campaign a year ago the first thing we did was write to AT&T, Verizon, and CenturyLink (the three biggest holders of landlines). We asked them to provide people with free effective tools to stop robocalls and sit down with us to discuss possible timelines and solutions. They didn’t have much interest in meeting with the campaign then.

In the past year over half a million people have joined the campaign, over 30,000 of you have shared your personal story with us, and many of you have made a donation to the campaign. Your tremendous support and activism has resulted in making the robocall problem national news and making it a problem that the phone companies can no longer ignore.

Tomorrow we will be in Washington, D.C. at US Telecom headquarters to meet with AT&T, Verizon, and CenturyLink and other major phone companies to discuss how they can solve this problem quickly for their customers. This is a major first step and it is all because of the tremendous pressure you have built!

We know that the phone companies can end robocalls and with your help we will make sure they do!

    Good Luck,
But you might be alone according to the weather report! Hopefully, they will reschedule in a timely manor.
