Robocalls are annoying. Robocalls that are apparently intended for someone else are especially annoying.

Julie is one of the more than 33,000 consumers who’ve shared their stories as part of the End Robocalls movement. She has a credit card with a major retailer, and she shops at the store, but has never used the chain’s pharmacy services. Nevertheless, Julie regularly gets robocalls from the store that issued her credit card. Here’s Julie’s story:

“I’ve been a [store] credit card holder for many years but have never used [the store’s] pharmacy. Despite this, I keep getting calls on my cell phone telling me my prescription is ready at my local [store]. I’ve contacted [the store] in person and via e-mail and have gotten nowhere in ending this harassment!  I’m wondering if ALL [of this store’s] credit card holders get these robocalls. It is beyond annoying!”
