Des has a lot to juggle, including being a mom, tending to her daughter’s medical challenges, and holding down a busy job. Robocallers don’t care about any of that. Des gets so many robocalls to a phone she has to answer that she’s worried it will affect her work:

My daughter has multiple medical conditions. I still attempt to work, but I get lots of medical type phone calls and my job tries to tolerate them and I try to keep them to a minimum. Robocalling is killing me. They come in like local calls and they are disruptive and endanger my livelihood. But my daughter and her medical professionals need to reach me. I should not have my number given out at someone else’s profit. I pay a lot of money to be reachable…”
